Night Photography in Salisbury, Wiltshire – Blue Moon

Blue Moon in Salisbury, Wiltshire

So called Blue Moon is a considerably rare occasion and I have decided to spend a couple of hours on the fresh air near Salisbury, Wiltshire. I’m not going into technical details what one need to do to take decent photo of the moon – it is easy to find elsewhere. I think it is a matter of personal preferences and taste – what do you see and what do you want to show to the others!
I’ve tryed to photograph Blue Moon from Old Sarum first and then near Salisbury Cathedral, hoping to combine great lighting of the Cathedral walls with Blue Moon beaming light. Cathedral Security desagreed with my intention to stay on the Cathedral grounds for long so I had to leave a bit earlier then meant to. But hey, sometimes things working well, sometimes not so well 🙂
I still got a few shots to share…
